The Hanks family is in celebration mode today. Ethan scored a goal in his soccer game! This time last year, he was hiding in the van and crying. Today, I could not have been more proud.
My pride did not come from the goal. He was a brave guy that played anytime our team needed him. Ethan played great defense (his specialty) and stopped several easy goals for the other team.
Our guy has come a long way in one year. We celebrated his goal at Applebee's, and I have mentioned it about 30 times today. :)
Proud Dad's can really embarrass a kid....
