A great investment

I bought a tube of 15 glow sticks for a buck. (I actually bought two
because they were cool.)

We have had countless hours of fun hiding in the closet and cracking
open glow sticks. If your kids are into Star Wars, these make the best
light sabers ever!

With apologies to Jonathan, I bought them at Michael's - the craft
store. I was there to buy Mia a bday present, but J was adamant that
we can no longer be friends since I shopped there.

While that is a tough rule, I cannot say that I disagree with it....

This still makes me laugh. It is our inside-front-cover ad in our national trade publication. I will be at the assoc's event starting tomorrow in DC. My "family" will certainly be the primary topic of discussion over the next two days. :)

Your business card is crap

I don't know this guy, but I am confident of these facts:

1) He drives a BMW
2) He always mentions how much money he makes in EVERY conversation
3) He screams at his family- but only because he "loves" them
4) He works out with a personal trainer
5) He is about to close a deal
6) He wears shirts with his initials on the sleeves
7) He drinks protein shakes from Whole Foods
8) He "may run for office"
9) He is fantastic

Go, Ethan, Go!

The Hanks family is in celebration mode today. Ethan scored a goal in his soccer game! This time last year, he was hiding in the van and crying. Today, I could not have been more proud.

My pride did not come from the goal. He was a brave guy that played anytime our team needed him. Ethan played great defense (his specialty) and stopped several easy goals for the other team.

Our guy has come a long way in one year. We celebrated his goal at Applebee's, and I have mentioned it about 30 times today. :)

Proud Dad's can really embarrass a kid....
