We have a new family member - Masresha Amaru
Everyone, Masresha....Masresha, everyone....(She said "selam" which is hello in her language, Amharic.)
Masresha currently lives in a garbage dump because her mother is not able to provide for her, and her father has passed away. I met her last month, and Heather will see her in June.
BUT!!! She will be in camp this summer to learn some English, lifeskills, etc. In September, she will go with 100+ of her friends to a boarding school. She will have new clothes, a bed, a shower, school books (girl, you better study or you are grounded,) and a food.
